Mick Mulvaney Starts At Consumer Protection Agency

A partisan showdown between President Donald Trump and an outgoing appointee of the previous administration is boiling over.
On November 24th, Richard Cordray, the former director of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, named his chief of staff as the interim head of the agency.
But before Cordray departed, President Trump named Mick Mulvaney to lead the bureau.
Mulvaney also serves as the White House budget chief.
